Whilst the mountains are humbling, the sea is my real panacea (like mother like daughter), so what a birthday treat. A lovely cooked breakfast, courtesy of Bill and the kids and then a day lazing by the ocean in the blistering sunshine, frolicking in the waves and watching whales far out to sea.
